This week's paddle is scheduled for Lovesick Lake. You get to the meeting location by·following Highway 28 north to Burleigh Falls (approximately 32 km). Meet at the pay parking lot on the left (past the Lovesick Lake Restaurant and across the road from the Burleigh Island Lodge)

Head to Kinmount. There is a fish and chip stand on the right side going through town. Right past it is a road, like a driveway. Turn down the driveway and there is public parking. We will paddle up the Burnt River to Three Brothers Falls. Bring a lunch.·

Big Cedar Lake

This week's paddle is scheduled for Big Cedar Lake.·To get to the starting point take Hwy. 28 north from Peterborough. Take the Julian Lake road on the·left just past the Woodview General Store at Woodview on Hwy. 28. Follow Julian Lake·Road all the way to the end. It ends at the boat launch ·The boat·launch has good parking.
Otonobee River - Squirrel Creek

This week's paddle is scheduled for Otonobee River - Squirrel Creek Conservation Area.·Take·Bensfort Road south·of the·Peterborough·by-pass and turn onto·Wallace Point Road·on the right.·Follow Wallace Point Road/County Road 21 south approximately 11 km.·You will see the sign to Squirrel Creek Conservation area on the left. Follow the drive to the launch. There is lots of parking.

Poker Lake Loop
We have booked a campsite for Friday and Saturday night. You will need to paddle into the campsite which is a short paddle in. Once you have made camp, you can explore the loop without your gear. Pigeon River

The meeting place for this week's paddle will start at the Omemee beach located behind the Legion in Omemee. The beach is on the left as you go across the bridge coming through Omemee from the east. There is parking at the beach and you will be required to carry your canoe/kayak a short distance. The route for the paddle will be along the river through the channel that the fishing boats have made. We will meander up the river, checking out the wild rice and the birds fishing. Quite a sight to see the diving birds come out of the sky! We will paddle up to Hog's Trough before turning back. Hope to see you on the water.
